Spring Pictures – Were sent home this week. Please be sure to send back any pictures that you do not want to purchase along with the payment for the ones that you would like to purchase by Tuesday, May 25th.
Re-enrollment – If you have not re-enrolled your child for the fall by May 31st the fee will go up to 55.00 on June 1st, 65.00 on July 1st and 75.00 on August 1st. *Remember we only order books for those that have enrolled for the fall, so don’t wait too long.
Congratulations to – Rebekah Mayes. She tied Kala Faulkner’s high jump record of 5’2”. Kala’s record was set in 2006.
Congratulations to – Kathryn Wilhoit, Kaytee Lester and Maeghan Cartmill for placing 4th in State at the Foreign Language Competition on May 15th at UK. We would also like to thank Mrs. Scott for all that she has done to make this possible.
Baseball Open Gym – will be Wednesday, May 26th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the gym.
HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULES – for next year will be given to students when enrollment forms are completed in the front office. Please complete your enrollment as soon as possible, so that we may consider your needs in scheduling classes.
Used Books – If you would like to resell your books please contact Kay Pack in the main office to get your name on the list.
Report Cards – Will be available to be picked up in the main office on June 8th. *Remember your account must be paid in full before you can receive your report card.
Yearbook Orders - It's time to place your order for the 2009-2010 Yearbook. Cost is $25. ALL orders must be turned in to Mrs. Thompson. Order forms can be picked up in her room. The last day to order a 'personalized' yearbook will be May 27th.
I cannot guarantee personalized orders placed after this date. To ensure getting your copy of 09/10 yearbook it is best to order early!!! Yearbooks are $25 and order forms can be found on the outside of my classroom door.

Rose Hill “Re-runs” – used uniform sale will be on Friday, July 23rd from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Drop off Thursday, July 22nd from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Lady Royals Pancake Breakfast – Saturday, June 5th from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at O’Charley’s Restaurant in Ashland. The cost is $5.00 a person.
Car Wash – The Lady Royals Basketball team will be having a Car Wash on Saturday, June 12th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Kentucky Farmers Bank 6313 US-60 Ashland. $$Donations$$
Summer Music Camp - Anyone interested in attending Summer Music Camp June 14-19 at Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, TN, may pick up an application from Mrs. Mayes. Camp includes Senior Chorus (grades 9-12); Junior Chorus (grades 4-8); Piano & Organ Camp (grades 6-12 and has played intermediate or advanced literature).
We are still seeking coaches for the following sports: Cheerleading and Softball. We have several students wishing to play these sports so please keep this in your prayers. If you are interested in apply please see Mr. Klaiber.
High School Class Scheduling: To begin our scheduling for next year, each student entering grades 10-12 was given a schedule request form last week. Students may list class choices for next year. As these are returned, final schedules will be completed for those students who have registered for next school year. CAREER EXPLORATION:
Students, take a look at the Occupational Outlook Handbook at www.bls.gov/oco/home.htm to get some career ideas, or speak with Mrs. Looney about future career plans.
ACT Test Dates & Registration: Upcoming Juniors and Seniors, please visit http://www.actstudent.org/ to learn more about the ACT exam, test preparation, and career counseling. This is the exam score that colleges will request before you will be accepted. You can take it several times, and your score usually improves each time that it is taken!
